Monthly newsletter from the Old Town Square Hotel
October 2009
The main changes that have occurred during the month of September are to do with our restaurant Bílý Koníček, which we decided to change into a Jazz Lounge. As many of you will know, the restaurant is situated in cellars dating back to the 12th century and so it has a very ambient atmosphere. Starting from November 2009 we shall have live concerts everyday from 21:00 with Jazz / Blues / Sving groups mainly from the Czech republic, but also hosts from abroad. Protective measures have been taken to limit any noise or disturbance for our hotel guests, so you need not worry.
We would like to also announce a new arrival to our team Mr. Nemo and Mr. Oscar, our two hotel fish pets, who guard the hotel safe. Unfortunately both see competition in one another, so they have been fighting from day 1. Next month we will bring an update on an improvement to their working relationship.

Swan Lake is one of the most famous ballet titles and is a mainstay of the repertoire of all international theatres. The original German fairy tale about Princess Odetta who changed into a swan, the sorcerer Red Beard and an unhappy prince who forgets his oath has acquired immortality thanks to the music of P. I. Tchaikovsky and the preserved choreography of Lev Ivanov and Marius Petipa. The National Theatre will present Swan Lake in precisely the form that audiences expect, i.e. as a romantic ballet with a rich stage setting and superlative dance performances of the company’s leading soloists
