George Prime Steak will be the premier, quintessential American-style steakhouse in Prague, and will use only carefully selected individual cuts from gold standard Black Angus “USDA Prime Beef”. “Prime” is the highest designation awarded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), with only 2-3% of the finest beef produced in the US being labelled “USDA Prime”. The George Prime Steak selection will be limited to prime beef produced by a very few select farms in the American mid-west, where cattle are raised 100% naturally. This means that cattle are hormone and antibiotic free, ethically treated, and fed only high-quality corn-based feed. Each cut will be hand-trimmed and aged to perfection in-house, for no less than 30 days.
The steakhouse will also give equal attention to its fresh and extensive seafood selection and chef-driven entrees. The wine list will encompass both boutique and well-known producers from around the world, and will boast the most comprehensive Californian wine cellar this side of the VltavaRiver.
George Prime Steak will boast an all-star team of chefs and restaurateurs. The Executive Chef, Martin Hnilicka, gained his experience working at Prague’s highly regarded CelesteRestaurant.
The atmosphere of George Prime Steak space will cater to those looking for a fine dining experience in the evenings, but will also be a comfortable venue for business meetings, after-work cocktails in the lounge, and group functions in the restaurant’s private vaults, which were designed by internationally acclaimed New York designers. The space will accommodate up to 70 people, with an average meal costing about 1,000 CZK per head.
